INSIDER JOURNAL

The Spanish spirit of socializing outdoors, even in low temperatures, made the experience memorable. While Lugo didn’t impress me, Ourense captivated me with its charm and hot springs—though the one near my hotel was closed. Driving through the Ribeira Sacra wine route, I discovered Monforte de Lemos, a hidden gem I’ll surely revisit. This trip was a perfect blend of discovery and warmth, and I can't wait to return.

His first trip was a success—he slept peacefully the whole way. While he has his mischievous puppy moments, chewing everything in sight, he’s quickly adapted to sleeping in his bed beside mine, a big change from my old habit of letting dogs rule the sofa and bed.
