Curiosity and adventure have been my compass when I was in my 30’s and 40’s. They’ve pulled me toward the extraordinary and out of my comfort zone—summiting Kilimanjaro, plunging into the unknown on a night scuba dive, and even leaping out of an airplane voluntarily. The thrill of pushing boundaries, of embracing the unfamiliar, has always fueled me…until now.
Yet adventure isn’t just about physical feats; it’s about stepping into the unknown in any form. And now, I find myself on a new kind of expedition—one where my feet are planted firmly on the ground. Podcasting has become my latest adrenaline rush (as I approach the 6th decade of life), a space where I dive into friendly conversations that challenge, inspire, and uncover the raw, unfiltered stories of the people I’ve met on my global travels.
These guests bring their own tales of resilience, and discovery. Their stories don’t just enrich my podcast; they shape my daily life, reminding me that the world is vast, layered, and endlessly fascinating.
Curiosity doesn’t fade; it transforms. The landscapes I explore now may be digital, but the journey is just as thrilling. Instead of climbing mountains, I climb into and reflect in my mind. Instead of jumping out of planes, I leap into the discomfort of sharing my thoughts and experiences. And instead of diving into the ocean, I dive into conversations that will share truths of my guest and myself.
So here I am, embracing this new adventure—not with ropes and parachutes, but with a microphone and a heart full of stories gathered over the last 5 decades. So grab a cup of tea…and Wander & Ponder with me.
